Keeping asking around “Is the password?” Murray might be programed to answer, so you’ll hear him say “No”.
Or:
Incinerate the hay, Murray will survive, but will get covered in ashes, making it visible.

juyst go aroung every hay pile and ask “is the password Murray?” and if one of them reply “no” or “yes” (*gulp*) try to find murray in it.
and while guessing hope you get it right

i suggest people to read the FAQ. I see loads of things that, if people did read the FAQs, would not be put.
