An icon for the gold you have (maybe in the inventory) would be a good idea.
First: Make an indicater somewhere of how much gold you have.
Second: Spend it for training with the town’s battlemaster (or whatever you GM’s want to call it, just find somebody to train you) until you are lvl 3.
And the other quest MG, we all know it’s done.
Put an icon for the amount of gold you have.

Then go shopping with Techy, and no matter what he buys, buy the same thing.
