Look around for Holy.

You look around, but fail to locate Holy. This is mainly due to the fact that she took off to Ice Castle on her flying eagle mount more than a week ago, and you and Deblin decided to follow her on foot. You’re not certain why you’d have to explain this to yourself as it is old news. The new news is that a terrible snow storm has trapped you in a cave that definitely is not Ice Castle. So far you’ve only explored the entrance of said cave, and it seems to be pretty long. Sadly you’ll have to do the walking from here on, as your grasshopper familiar has been frozen by the extreme temperatures, any attempt to unfreeze him before the storm ends will surely be pointless.
What do you do?

Wait for the storm to stop.
Or
Use incinerate to create a fire and sing some camping songs.
Rest to regenerate mana until storm ends
DEBLIN NEEDS TO BLOW SOMETHING UP! NOT ENOUGH DEBLIN EXPLOSIONS!
rest to regenerate your mana, then begin exploring the cave. maybe it leads to the castle.
fill the mana bar with juicy blue colour as you’ve probably rested many times on the way here, then explore the cave feeling a little sad about the temporary loss of your little green insettoid friend.
Go deeper into the cave until you trip over something plot relevant.
(also you must have rested on that week long trip why is your mana bar empty?)
Wait! Can we inventory Mr.Grasshopper?
Explore the cave.
Meditate to regain mana.
first you should somehow put him in youre inventory
wonder why your mana bar hasn’t refilled after a week of travel in which more then likely you’ve stopped to rest a few times.
OR/AND
cast light and look deeper in the cave for possible warmth
Challenge Deblin to an ice sculpture carving contest, then blatantly cheat by entering the grasshopper as your sculpture.
Inventory grasshopper.
refill mana (really, you had a whole week, why didn’t you do that during the travel?)
oopspostedtoolate
THERE’S AN ICE GRUE BEHIND YOU
Levitate Cricky and explore the cave
Give your Grasshopper familiar a name as that is the most important thing to do at the moment.
It is pitch blue. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
I want this to be a cut-scene, perferably at the end of the chapter, but I will continue posting this post untill it is made(You’ll thank me later). I apologise if i misspell wurds and if this comment is too long. CUT-SCENE “Then, a little tiny light apears in the air. It gradualy gets bigger and bigger until it becomes a portal!!! Then, a hand, then an arm, then the rest of a body comes through the portal! It’s a human, and someone of which the likes has not seen before. James does a quick assesment of what the portal human has. He has a backpack which is filled with a lot of supplies and equipment, gear, and weapons. Another bag contains a few books (they look like manuals, but you can’t read human and eventualy turn them upside down because you HAD them upsidedown the entire time) and a device with a lid that you cannot identify (turns out to be a laptop, but that will be revealed later.) Then, the eyes from the person who came out of the portal moves. (Switch to his eye perspective) the eyes open a bit, then close. then open a bit wider, then close again. But finaly, the eyes open wide completely, and they focus on what is in front of you; an elf. (Switch back to normal perspective.) as he extends his hand the human looks at it, but eventually reaches out for his hand to help him up.” END OF CUT-SCENE.
Inventory grasshopper and move on!
snap off an antenna and eat it like a Popsicle.
retro-actively rest for mana
OR
Fondly remember what you used all your mana on today.
Ask the snow monster to be your familiar.
Camp and melt the grasshopper.
cast light and explore
Explore the ice cave, Dumb Elf!
Wonder why you didn’t see the second sun on your journey… Is that thing still there?
Break off pieces of the grasshopper and store them in your inventory. If they thaw, crush them to make something like that “HP Potion” you made that gave you a god-like form for a short time.
I second
I third
I fourth
I 5th.
Hey, Antonio Gutierrez III, in answer to your really, really long post of an end-of-chapter cut scene: we can only control James, not the environment around him. Still, I think it is a good idea, and I’ll second it anyway.
Wonder how you managed to not get any expirience over that trip. How’d you get out of that angry mob without killing anything?
NO don’t hurt your newly formed familiar. It take a lot of mana to make that thing. Don’t just kill it. You don’t even know what that kind of potion will do. Just explore the cave or something. Poor grasshopper
