Marbel is obviously a golem. You didn’t think they still existed, mainly because warforged took their place as a player race. You figured they might still be around, but you never though they had a massive city carved into a mountain. Rays of light illuminate the white texture of the rocks around you and you see more and more metallic and rock giants around you. You are in Peria.

Fine decent sized rock, cast animate followed by magnetify on the rock. Put grasshopper back in his place, your inventory. Then make the rock your new familiar. Name pet rock Mr. Pincushion, after all sharp metal objects stick to him like a pincushion.
Your lack of money might make getting around difficult more than your lack of levels. Find some menial oddjobs to do in town while you look for your party members.
Cast flare or some other light producing spell and see if the light bounces off everything and burns out your retinas.
Rock out with Crazy Train.
Or if you don’t know that song, push a slinky down some stairs.
Stay away from the main plot, find some random stuff to waste your time on.
Cast animate on a golem to see what happens.
