deblin should look on the bright side(but not literally since it seems to be pumping out enough holy energy to instantly kill wraiths), as a half angel he can now slaughter hellspawns for fun and profit, doesn’t even need to worry about coming up with an evil or selfish justification for preventing the demon horde from ending the world now, he can just do it.
That and he may hsve lost some of the normal demon weaknesses, ex: holymagic since his wing is killing wraiths but not him.
and a psionic half angel half demon could get away with just about anything.
You ex: think half as many king’s guards would have shot an angel stealing that chariot? Or would they have seen the white wing and assumed he had a good reason? lol
Besides as something not fully a demon he is free to choose his own aligment. no longer evil by default, now he can choose the dark path of his own free will. Evil means so much more when you choose to do it.
Tell Deblin that the wing is not bad, since it destroyed the enemy. Also, that wing may be the result of the gold he’s wearing, so check the gold armor-decor-whatever it is to see if it belonged to an archangel or something.
Deblin can fly! Order him to become a mythical being who kidnaps children and takes them on a LSD psycho trip on a fictional island called ‘neverland.’
Tell him Its not so bad, look how zappy it is, he just pwned a wraith by accident just by pointing the wing at it.
Granted they weren’t much threat to deblin to begin with, but its a new way to kill things.
Imagine the fun he’ll have burning through the hell spawn army crawling out of the dwarven continent.
James gets so much cool stuff for Deblin to “share” most of by being the one. Imagine the loot Deblin’ll get devastating the hellspawn singlewingedly himself.

realize the change probably has something to do with the wraiths, and try to look at the small of your back for some change in yourself.
Grab his wing and start pointing it at the wraiths.
Tell deblin to start commiting acts of evil as this transformation is obviously a result of a lack of such.
