Make up twenty names for the skull key and then have trouble deciding on what one name to call him

A guard has discovered the aftermath of your battle, a few rooms from here. This is probably a good sign that you have overstayed your welcome.
What do you do?

Cast ghost and get the hell out of dodge.
Run away in a ridiculous and nonsensical fashion.
Draw a mustach on the skull. Name him Vladimir.
“Run, you fools.”
stick him into the depths of your inventory and leave him forever forgotten
Make things even worse before you lose the chance!
give him to the guards
or
throw him at the guard and run
or
sexchange the skull and see what happens
Flee under the cover of darkness.
Egress.
OR
Say you can explain and then run instead of explaining.
no time to explain frezalate!!!!!
Inquire into this darkness as you run from the palace.
Run
Claim your innocence and run like hell
Grumble angrily while you walk out of there
Tell the skull key it will never fill the hole in your heart that Murry left.
punch the skull repeatedly with a wall (yes i mean it that way) and inventory the bastard and get out
or
just leave sending an evil glare at the gard
or
get arrested
Give the skull/blame to Krinn, this is her fault that Lust was summoned.
Slyly lie your way out of the situation
Become a deceitful mastermind, and inform the guard that the two bodies belong to hellspawn that killed the dwarven king, and then you valiantly smote them,
Tell the truth, then run as fast as you can.
Turn around and start screaming nonsense at the guard.
Make up a wild excuse about the room and then go find your party members
OR
Decide to call the skull “problem” and then go find your party members
You have done basically everything except kill Vervzat. You should do that.
I like Inc’s idea. Go with that!
Bail/Jump out the window.
Take Very Stupid with you to meet up with your party.
Inventory “Problem” and get the hell out of here.
Take the skull and run.
Ask him why you shouldn’t just throw him into a volcano to destroy him.
Make up a story about how you defeated both monsters and avenged the king’s death.
