Fun fact : All existing Manadan swords’ blades are made out of mimic scales. What allows mages to manipulate it’s transformation capabilities is the hilt, which can control mimic tissue – dead or alive.

Do not realize the power you hold over the mimic and cause it to turn into random shapes that come to mind.
Pretend you knew that all along!
Make the mimic into a cloud.
Turn the mimic into a polka-dotted rooster.
Pick up violet and find your other half.
Detach the cute little critter and inventory it!
Ride the mimic.
Transform the mimic into a Cyrowalrus and ride it into the sunset/to your next destination.

Attempt to change the mimic into a gigantic sword.
Make a huge walrus, then play tag with it.
