The remains of Farthore town square are revealed as you leave the jungle. Between the dense foliage you just traversed and Hollow woods lies a city in ruins.

Incessantly make comparisons between Gavin and James.

“We encountered a large jungle, on our way to Farthore

obviously the carriage couldn’t pass through here, so

me, Ray and Gavin went in to get there faster, and Jane and Techy

were going to meet up with us in a day. This gave me time to study

Gavin. And since I’ve only had James to compare him too, I must

admit I’m surprised… Gavin, like James has the decisive spirit, but

unlike him, he actually knows how to get things done. While his main

class is mage with a wizard subclass, he also took four levels of warrior

which are quite handy right now. He hasn’t lit anyone on fire, which puts

him another step in front of James. I admit he isn’t exactly fun, but that’s

not what we need right now. Speaking of no fun…Ray hasn’t said a word since we

left Central Bandelin. I hope his sister is doing a good job at managing the city.
